Firdaus said that Rahayu, the baby's mother, left her sleeping baby alone in a swing at home on Friday and went to wash dishes at a nearby river when the monkey attacked the baby.
The sad event was first encountered when the baby's grandmother Santi (51) went home and found her grandchild in a saddening condition. The baby was dead with neck broken and several cuts in the head. (*/M038)
