To reach the village located on the slope of Mt Slamet, the president and his entourage had to walk for 850 meters. Upon their arrival in the village, they were greeted with Rumeksa traditional dance.
In the dialog led by Central Java Governor Bibit Waluyo, the head of state and the local people talked about agricultural issues and regreening efforts.
Around 800 people consisting of among others farmers and students, participated in the dialog.
The president and the first lady planted pine trees in the village. Among those present in the dialog event were Tegal District Head Herry Soelistiyawan, Education and Culture Minister Muhammad Nuh, Public Works Minister Joko Kirmanto, Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan, Cooperatives SMEs Minister Syarief Hassan, Forestry Minister Zulkifli Hassan, Agriculture Minister Suswono, Chief of the Indonesian Defense Forces Admiral Agus Suhartono, National Police Chief General Timur Pradopo, Cabinet Secretary Dipo Alam and Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi.
