Herminiati, the sister of Madame Herawati, was sick at her home and treated by a doctor from Bina Sehat hospital, Jember Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Jayadi said here on Sunday.
"The vice president is on a private visit to Jember to visit his sister-in-law but he is under tight security in accordance with standard procedure," Jayadi said.
According to him, some 600 police officials were deployed to ensure the security of the vice president and Madame Herawati
