Clinton, on a tour of Asia Pacific region, arrived here yesterday to discuss wide ranging issues with her Indonesian counterpart Marty Natalegawa.
The two ministers discussed strategic partnership between Indonesia and the United States and other issues of mutual interest to both countries such as South China sea conflict and political crisis in Syria as well as prevailing condition in Myanmar.
Clinton, who is on her way to an APEC meeting in Vladivostok, stressed the need for an agreement on a Code of Conduct between Asean and China in resolving the territorial conflicts.
From Indonesia she will fly to Brunei Darussalam and to East Timor Timor before proceeding to Vladivostok. She visited Cook Island before Indonesia.(IGT)
