Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Indonesian flag carrier PT. Garuda Indonesia is giving a 25 percent discount for students of 17 educational institutions cooperating with the airline company.
"Garuda Indonesia signed a corporate sales cooperation with 17 educational institutions in appreciation of the education world and to bridge air transportation for teachers and students," marketing and sales director of Garuda Indonesia Elisa Lumbantoruan said in a written statement received by ANTARA Wednesday.
Garuda Indonesia signed an MoU with 17 higher learning institutes and Indonesian private companies in the presence of educators and education director of the National Education Director General Supriyadi Rustaf at the Garuda Indonesia Management Building in Cengkareng Wednesday.
Under the cooperation, Garuda Indonesia became the official airline company for the education institutes and their students will have a 25 percent flight ticket discount plus 10 kg baggage.
In addition, the teachers and staff of the higher learning institutes as well as their parents will also get an attractive price discount for flying Garuda Indonesia on domestic and international routes in official and private travel.(IGT)
