Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The presidential team of doctors successfully completed Indonesian First Lady Ani Yudhoyono's gall bladder surgery, at the Gatot Subroto Military Hospital on March 16.
Spokesman of the presidential team of doctors, Dr Aris Wibudi, said the surgery started at 8 am on Friday and was completed in an hour.
Dr Aris noted that the presidential medical team of nine doctors, successfully removed Ani Yudhoyono's gall bladder with stones in it through three holes measuring 0.5 centimeter in diameter.
"From 8 to 9 am this morning, the presidential medical team operated on First Lady Ani Yudhoyono to remove her gall bladder with some stones in it," Aris said.
He mentioned that the operation ran smoothly without any problems as the First Lady was in a stable condition while the surgery was being carried out.(IGT)
