Former Mataram City Mayor Dies

Mataram (Antara Bali) - HM Ruslan, mayor  of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB)'s provincial capital of Mataram in 2001-2005 and 2005-2010, passed away at the Jakarta's Harapan Kita cardiac hospital at 04.30pm on Sunday (Feb 26).

H M Ruslan, who underwent medical treatment at the cardiac hospital for several days, died due to a heart attack, a provincial government source said here on Sunday.

Mataram administration public relations officer Cukup Wibowo confirmed here about the former mayor's death, however he did not know when the former mayor's body would be flown to Mataram.

He said Mataram Mayor H Ahyar Abduh had instructed his staff to prepare the former mayor's burial procession.(IGT)
