"I am concerned about Angelina having been named a new suspect in the alleged SEA Games athletes' village corruption case," he said in a press statement.
"Another PD cadre now has to undergo a legal process after we already have for a long time been rocked by storms and waves of trials. we are being tested," Ibas said.
Nonetheless, he said, the Democrat Party would support the efforts of the law enforcing agencies, the KPK in particular, to solve the corruption case.
"We consistently support the just, fair and procedural enforcement of the law. I hope the law enforcing apparatus will work professionally based on the existing legal facts and evidence without intervention by external parties," he said.(IGT)
