Morotai, N Maluku (Antara Bali) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) arrived in Morotai, North Maluku, on Tuesday, to inaugurate a number of infrastructure projects, including a hybrid solar power plant (PLTS) and a micro-hydro electricity generator (PLTMH) in the province.
The president was greeted by North Maluku Governor Abdul Ghani Kasuba. He will inaugurate the PLTS and PLTMH plants in Daruba village, South Morotai subdistrict, Morotai District.
On the occasion, the president also symbolically inaugurated PLTS and PLTMH plants in Maluku, Papua and West Papua provinces.
On this occasion, the president was accompanied by Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono; Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Sudirman Said; Social Affairs Minister Khofifah Indar Parawansa; Chief of Presidential Staff Teten Masduki; special presidential staff for communications Johan Budi; and also presidential staff Lenis Kogoya.
