Jayapura, Papua (Antara Bali) - Indonesian embassy in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea (PNG) on Monday sent back six Indonesian fishermen arrested earlier by the PNG military .
Head of the border and foreign cooperation office of the province of Papua Suzanna Wanggai said the return of the six fishermen was facilitated by the Indonesian embassy after serving jail term in the Bomana prison in Port Moresby.
The six crew members of the KM. Cahaya Riski Merauke, were jailed for four months and were set free on Nov. 21 .
They are expected to arrive here on Tuesday (Dec 15) after being flown from Port Moresby to Denpasar in Bali , Suzanna said.
She refused to say how and why they were arrested by the PNG military (WDY)
