Jakarta (Antara Bali) - King of Jordan Abdullah II is urging countries involved in the South-South Cooperation to provide economic assistance, especially to nations that are under terrorist attacks.
"South-South Cooperation can and should help countries whose economic potentials are being exploited by terrorists," King Abdullah II said at the Asian-African Summit here on Wednesday.
He added that countries with weak economies were susceptible to be influenced by radical ideologies and certain groups.
Therefore, South-South Cooperation countries should be actively involved in dealing with any possibilities regarding the condition.
To manage these issues, countries concerned should create new opportunities for the younger generation and build proper sources of livelihood for communities for their welfare and so they can live in peace.
