Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The government said it will bring modernity to 5000 backward villages and will develop 2,000 self supporting villages until 2019.
"The government will integrated overall village development movements to achieve the target," Coordinating Minister for Human and Cultural Development Puan Maharani said here on Tuesday.
Puan said the overall village development movement is a program to develop to develop villages and optimize participation of the people
She said the success of the program is gauged by the progress made in meeting the basic necessities, development of basic infrastructure, public services and public administration.
Rural development has to be the priority in the national development program in line with the government priority program, she said. (WDY)
