The capital city of Indonesia has long been notorious for its snarling kilometer-long traffic jams that waste billions of U. S. dollars annually in fuel and energy.

According to a recent study, Jakarta has been named the city with the worst traffic congestion in the world.
The main contributors to the traffic in Jakarta are the large number of private motorcycles and vehicles. (WDY)
