Nusa Dua (Antara Bali) - In conjunction with Bali Hotels Association Sport and Cultural Carnival 2010, Meliá Bali was appointed to organize a Saturday 7K Run and Fun Walk on September18, 2010.
The event officially marked the yearly BHA (Bali Hotels Association) Sports and Cultural Carnival 2010. The Carnival runs from September up until the closing on the beginning of December 2010.
More than 800 hotel employees with other from all hotels in Bali community joined the seven-kilometer run and four-kilometer fun walk.
As the leading resort committed to carrying out a great tradition of caring and working together as a family, Jim Boyles – the General Manager of Meliá Bali opened the event with its 150 staffs participated in this event.
First, second and third place in the male category of the 7K run went to Jibril Taebe Nu from Discovery Kartika Plaza, Ketut Sugita from Holiday Inn Resort Baruna and Ketut Suardana from Holiday Inn Resort Baruna.
First, second and third 7K female winners were Ni Wayan Sriani from Ayana Resort, Ni Nyoman Suradi from Amandari and Komang Sugiani from Harris Resort Kuta.
It was an enjoyable day with door prizes at the finish line at the Peninsula Island, Nusa Dua.(*)
