Jakarta (Antara Bali) - An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale shook North Sulawesi province on Sunday night, according to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG).
The epicenter of the quake which struck at 09.37 p.m. local time was located in the sea 129 km southeast of the province's Bitung islands or 2,327 km northeast of Jakarta at a depth of 10 km, the agency said.
The quake did not have the potential to cause a tsunami, it said. (*/DWA)
