Garut (Antara Bali) - Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare Agung Laksono has asked poor people to report whoever corrupts the Temporary Direct Assistance to Community (BLSM) to authorities.

"If (the BLSM) is corrupted, it should be reported (to authorities) as it is a manipulation," Agung said in his visit during the fasting month of Ramadan here on Saturday.

According to Agung, he received a report about the BLSM corrupting cases in villages of several regions.

After checking the alleged BLSM corrupting cases, however, some of the BLSM was actually cut and redistributed to the other poor people who do not receive the BLSM or relating to existing debts (of the BLSM receiver), he said.

"The money was not corrupted, but the BLSM cut actually occurred relating to the matter of debts," the minister said. (M038)
