Palembang (Antara Bali) - The price of crude palm oil (CPO) rose to Rp7,084 per kilogram in South Sumatra on Saturday from Rp7,049 per kg a week earlier.

An official of the regional office of the plantation service Benyamin said the new price was set at a routine meeting between related agencies and a number of palm oil business leader.

The meeting set the price based on price developments in international market, Benyamin said here on Saturday.

He said the price was based on international price development as part of the CPO production from the province is exported. (*/M038)
