Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Chairman of the Supreme Court (MA) Justice Hatta Ali said that former police general Susno Duadji had shown a gallant act by giving himself up to a prosecutor's office.
"Susno indeed displayed a gallant act," said Hatta Ali, here Friday.
He said he had received information from the Supreme Court's Public Relations Chief Ridwan Mansour that Susno Duadji had surrendered and had not been taken by force.
"I extend my appreciation to him (Susno)," the chief justice said.
Hatta said that Susno's decision to surrender displays his good faith as a law-abiding citizen.
"As a good citizen, he should abide by the Supreme Court's ruling which has come into force," said Hatta Ali. (IGT)
