Samosir (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian Embassy in the Netherlands has promoted the Toba Lake Festival 2013 in that country the World Floriade Horticultural Expo 2012 last October.
Samosir Regent Mangindar Simbolon said at his office here on Wednesday that the Toba Lake Festival (TLF) will be held in June 29 to July 13, and he has visited the World Floriade to promote the event in Venlo, the Netherlands.
"During our visit, the Indonesian Embassy in the Netherlands said they were committed to supporting the TLF promotion as part of the national tourism promotion," he said.
The TLF used to be titled Toba Lake Party (TLP) which was held last in December 2012 after the government found a new paradigm to promote the biggest lake in Indonesia, he explained.
"The new name covers many agenda and the event is not only a mere party event, but also covers sports and education," he said. (IGT)
