Pagar Alam (Antara Bali) - At least three people were killed in a landslide, triggered by incessant rain in Pelangkedinai Village of Penjalang, Pagar Alam District, South Sumatra on Tuesday morning.

"The three dead, one of them is still missing, were residents of Rempasai Village located across the fallen slope," spokesperson of Pagar Alam Administration Imam Pasli said here Tuesday.

The landslide material buried a shack, belonged Syaiful, one of the dead victims, located near Lematang River of Rempasai Village.

The landslide debris buried the shack, which was located in a coffee plantation, together with the three victims inside.

Syaiful (50) were buried with his wife, Yati (48) and his child Wansyah (30). (IGT)
