Sangihe, North Sulawesi (Antara Bali) - Social Ministry repairs at least 120 damaged houses by Village Repairing Program in Leboh Village of Sangihe Archipelago, North Sulawesi.
"We should increase the people's welfare that populates the outer islands of Indonesia so that they do not move to other areas and become the first monitoring stronghold for our country," said Social Minister Salim Segaf Al Jufri here on Sunday.
The Minister stays in a night in a house that will be repaired by the program. According to him, welfare of the people who live in outer island should be fulfilled as the areas become the first fortress for Indonesia.
Salim said that the program is operated based on mutual aid that aimed to ended poverty and generate social solidarity.
"The outer island welfare is also become the concern of Social Ministry and other ministries as well as local administration," said Salim. (*/DWA)
