Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika sent a letter to four cabinet ministers with regard to the closure of Ngurah Rai airport and four seaports during the Balinese New Year which falls on Tuesday, March 16, 2010.
"The letter dated December 29, 2009, had been sent to the Minister of Transportation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Minister of Communications and Information," Head of the Bali Transportation, Information and Communication Agency I Made Santha said here Monday.
Copies of the letter had also been sent to all the government private institutions on Bali Island to support the success of the 24-hour implementation of the "Tapa Brata Penyepian" starting from 6 am on March 16, 2010 to 4 pm the following day.
Made Santha said the governor's circular no 003.2/22488/DPIK has been disseminated by Ngurah Rai airport since early in the morning to all foreign as well as domestic airline companies.(*)
