Tomohon, North Sulawesi (Antara Bali) - Mount Lokon in Tomohon, North Sulawesi, erupted again at 11.02pm local time on Saturday.
The chief of the Lokon and Mahawu volcano monitoring station in Kaskaskasen, Farid Ruskanda Bima, estimated the ash sent by the eruption reached 2,500 meter high.
"Tonight's eruption was the closest to the time when tremor started at 6pm on Saturday," he said.
He said the eruption did not cause panic as most people had already slept when it happened.(*/DW
