Sentani (Antara Bali) - Social, Employment and Transmigration Service of the Government of Jayapura, Papua Province, plans to build 25 houses for the community in two districts in 2012.

Head of Social, Employment and Transmigration Service of Jayapura, Hellena CH Hole, said here on Friday that the houses are to be provided to people who do not now have habitable houses.

"This is the follow-up of the habitable houses construction program begun in 2010, and they have been gradually built based upon the allocated funds," she said.

Hole further said the houses would be 36 square meters. Also, ten houses are to be built in Pobaim Village of Nimboran District and 15 houses and one church in Witi Village of Lereh District.

The construction fund of 2 billion rupiah comes from the Regional Income and Spending Budget year 2012.

Further, the cost of the house construction program in Lereh District was 70 million rupiah per unit and 69 million rupiah in Nimboran District.(IGT)
