Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will embark on a work visit to Central Java and is scheduled to visit Cilacap and the surrounding areas on the first day.
Jokowi was scheduled to depart from the Halim Perdanakusuma Airport at 10:30 a.m. local time and arrive in Cilacap an hour later.
Before departing for Central Java, Jokowi, at the State Palace, inaugurated Jakarta Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat as governor for the remaining term of office from 2012 to 2017.
During the visit to Central Java, the president will distribute land certificates and Indonesia Smart Cards to the local people in Cilacap.
The president was scheduled to hold a gathering at the Al Ihya Ulumudin Islamic Boarding School, followed by a visit to the Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School before continuing his trip to Banyumas.
During the trip, President Jokowi is accompanied by Minister/State Secretary Partikno, Health Minister Nila F. Moeloek, and Education Minister Muhadjir Effendy.
In the evening, the president is scheduled to visit the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School in Banyumas to perform Tarawih prayers with the local people. (WDY)
