Jakarta (Antara Bali) -- The Youth and Sports Ministry will allocate Rp175 billion in the draft national budget (RAPBN) 2016 for the 19th National Sports Week (PON) which will take place in West Java province, a minister has said.
"We planned (to allocate) for the West Java' PON at least Rp100 billion for its implementation and Rp75 billion for the game equipments. Although we haven't yet received proposal, but we have thought regarding the PON," the Youth and Sports affairs minister Imam Nahrawi said here on Thursday.
The minister made the remarks in a hearing with the commission-X of the House of Representatives (DPR) that deals with sports affairs.
In the 2015 state budget, the government only allocated Rp15 billion, which was criticized by the House's commission. (WDY)
