Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian Herbal Medicine Community will establish a research center to develop and preserve one Indonesian cultural heritage, according to herbal medicine foundation chairman Sofyan Hidayat.
"The research center for Indonesian herbal medicine will conduct research on genuine herbal medicine to preserve and publicize it," Hidayat remarked here Friday.
Indonesia has great potential in herbal medicine, which can be studied and developed through the research center, he explained.
In addition, the research center will serve as a vehicle for the herbal medicine community to develop it further, Hidayat said.
The Indonesian Herbal Medicine Center can promote herbal medicine in the country through seminars, discussions, and exhibitions. (WDY)
