Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and his entourage left for North Sumatra on Friday morning for a working visit to the province.
The presidential aircraft RI-1, carrying the president and his entourage, departed from the Halim Perdanakusuma airport here at 8 a.m. local time to the Kualanamu International Airport in Deliserdang District, North Sumatra.
From the Kualanamu airport, the president will head to the Binaka airport in Gunung Sitoly to visit several locations on Nias Island.
The president and his entourage will thereafter fly to Sibolga to spend the night there. The next morning, the presidential entourage will fly again to Silangit airport to visit numerous locations in Toba Samosir District.
During his visit to Toba Samusir, the president will spend the night at the Prapat tourism resort located on the banks of Lake Toba.
The head of state will thereafter visit Tombok in Samosir and head to Balige before returning to Kualanamu airport. (WDY)
