Indonesia`s Uber Cup Team Beats Bulgaria 5-0

Kunshan. China (Antara Bali) - Indonesias Uber Cup team defeated the Bulgarian team 5-0 in its first appearence at the elimination round of Group C of the womens group badminton championship here on Sunday.

Della Destiara Haris and Rosyita Eka Pitri Sari who played in the last match completed the countrys victory 5-0 over Bulgaria after beating Mariya Mitsova who paired with Petya Nedelcheva 21-9, 21-11 in 24 minutes.

"We did not win the game easily. Points that we obtained often came from their own mistakes," Della said.

In the first game the Bulgarian pair seemed unable to play much because of a lot of mistakes they made themselves to make Della/Rosyita to score 10-0.

Mariya/Petya tried to rise and successfully make the score to 5-10 and later 7-10. Later however the Indonesian pair who is ranked 27th in the world widened the gap in score collection to 19-7 and the 20-8 before concluding the game 21-9 for their favor.

"Mariya seemed still not used to playing in the double event while Petya seemed to be used to playing in the sector " Rosyita said.

In the second game Della/Rosyita kept collecting scores from 5-1 to 7-2, 10-4, 14-5, 16-6 and concluded the game 21-11.

"We are grateful with the first victory. We will do our best to meet Hong Kong tomorrow," Rosyita said.(WDY)
