Jakarta (Antara Bali)- Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan attended a hearing on terrorism issues with members of Commission I and III of the House of Representatives (DPR), here, Monday.
"The joint hearing is to discuss integrated measures against terrorism," Chairman of Commission I Mahfud Sidik stated prior to the meeting.
The Commissions I and III were keen to hear the government's explanation on terrorism handling so far, he remarked.
"We want to hear the government's explanation on terrorism issues," he noted.
Heads of the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) and the National Counter-terrorism Agency (BNPT) were also present during the hearing.
The hearing was basically also held to evaluate the performance of the agencies, Sidik added. (WDY)
