Denpasar
(Antara Bali) - The Bali Beyond and Travel Fair (BBTF) 2016 has lured
several Australian travel operators to participate and obtain firsthand
information on travel products to be offered during the event.
"We continue to expand the Australian market segment, although it
has existed since a long time," Chairman of the BBTF Organizing
Committee Ketut Ardana stated here, Wednesday.
Australian travel agents, including those of the platinum agent
category, have brought several tourists to Bali and Indonesia in
general, he pointed out.
A platinum travel operator could contribute to more than 10 thousand foreign tourists annually, he affirmed.
Venture Holidays is among the Australian travel operators that will participate in the travel fair.
Ardana noted that Venture Holidays` Director Ian Garrit had written to express his interest to attend the fair.
He quoted Garrit as saying that he would not only sign contracts
with the existing buyers for the period between April 1, 2017, and March
31, 2018, but would also look for new products to be offered in the
fair for the coming years.
The BBTF is viewed as being an efficient platform since travel
buyers and sellers will be able to meet during a single event that will
display tourism-related services such as hotels, resorts, new and rare
destinations, and travel bureaus.
The event will be organized at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center
(BNDCC), Badung District, Bali, on June 22-26 this year. (WDY)
