500 International Organization Calls Importance of Health Insurance

Jakarta (Antara Bali) - Approximately 500 international institutions promoted the importance that all governments around the world accelerate health insurance reform in each country so that all citizens can gain access to quality services.

"Universal health insurance is an important element to stop extreme poverty and sharing prosperity together within one generation," said Senior Director of Health, Nutrition, and Population World Bank Group's Global Tim Evans in a press release received here on Sunday.

A total of 500 over the agency participated in the Universal Health Insurance Day Coalition formed by the UN resolution, December 12, 2012, which encourages universal health insurance as one of the pillars of sustainable development and global security.
