Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Bali Governor Made Mangku Pastika has written to four relevant ministers notifying his plan to temporarily close Ngurah Rai International Airport in connection with the Hindu Day of Seclusion on March 31, 2014.
"We send the letter as early as possible so that the information could be disseminated to the public, international community and all relevant parties," Bali Regional Government Spokesman I Ketut Teneng said here on Tuesday.
He said that the letter was sent to Transportation Minister EE Mangindaan, Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa, Home Affairs Minister Gamawan Fauzi and Communications and Informatics Minister Tifatul Sembiring.
The copies of the letter was also extended to the director generals for land transportation, sea transportation and air transportation, besides to the chief of Bali's Regional Legislative Assembly (DPRD) and all district heads and mayor in Bali. (*/DWA)
