Tangerang (Antara Bali) - Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Banten province will add extra flights to anticipate a mass exodus of Idul Fitri homebound travelers.
The extra flights consist of 1,576 seats for domestic flights and 229 seats for international flights, the airport's senior general manager Bram Bharoto Tjiptadi said on Friday.
The domestic extra flights included those to Balik Papan, Denpasar, Makasar, Medan, Pontianak, Surabaya and Yogyakarta, and the international extra flights included those to Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore, he said.
To help passengers, the management of the airport has set up four command posts, consisting of one main command post and four sub-command posts at each of the airport's terminal, he said. (*/M038)
