"After undergoing verification from the Ministry of Transportation and being evaluated at the final stage, the aprons were said suitable for use," Ngurah Rai Airport Co-General Manager Sigit Herdiyanto remarked here on Thursday.
According to him, the final verification and evaluation included a process in the western apron and eastern apron with strength measurements.
The verification officers came from a number of teams from several agencies namely the Inspector of Aviation Navigation, the Sub-directorate of Airport Standardization, the Sub directorate of Airport Equipment and Utilities and representatives from the Directorate of Aviation Security.
