Denpasar (Antara Bali) – The Aston Denpasar Hotel and Convention Center (ADHCC) proudly launchs the NYEPI Package from 14–17 March 2010 with special rates starting from Rp 1,538,000 for four days//three nights in our studio room to Rp 1,937,000/net for one bedroom and Rp 2,537,000 for two bedrooms.
    
Adinda Ashrinitya, the Public Relations Manager of ADHCC, as told to ANTARA, in Denpasar, Wednesday, said, those packages would include welcome drinks upon arrival, buffet breakfast for two or four persons daily depends on your room type, complimentary "All You Can Eat" buffet lunch and dinner on Nyepi Day at Jempiring Coffee Shop for two adult with only Rp 115,000/person (lunch buffet) and Rp 135,000/person (dinner buffet).
      
"We also give complimentary Kid Zone Facility with several exciting children activities such as Balloon Twisting workshop with Clown, Fun Games with parents and kid, and Story Telling Drama with Special Cartoon Character and last but not least you can also enjoy our relaxing Spa Treatment with 20 percent discount," says her.
     
Bali is famous with their unique cultural and also known with their sacred Hindu as their religions. On 16th March 2010, people in Bali will celebrate Nyepi, the beginning of the Hindu New Year.
    
Nyepi is observed as a day of complete silence without traffic, fire or lights. Nyepi derive from 'sepi' means silence. During this event any activities in Bali Island is stopped for 24 hours.
    
There are four mandatory religious prohibitions called Catur Brata Penyepian that should be followed by common Hindu people in Bali.
     
The prohibitions include amati geni or no fire, amati karya or no work, amati lelanguan or no entertainment and pleasure, and amati lelungan or no travelling.
    
These prohibitions help people to control their five earthy senses by mind and wisdom in order to increase the quality of life for the upcoming year.
     
For people with higher spiritual ability or willing to have higher spiritual life are expected to perform further prohibitions include fasting by not eating or drinking, stay still by not talking, meditating by focusing the mind to the God and praying.
    
The silence of Nyepi begins on March 16th at 6.00am and ends on March 17th at 6.00am. Bali’s International Airport will not open during this period.(*)
