Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is set to question Agriculture Minister Suswono as a witness in a beef import scandal next Monday, its spokesman said.
"The agriculture minister will be questioned as a witness for suspect LHI on Monday," KPK spokesman Johan Budi said here on Thursday.
The KPK served a summons on the agriculture minister on Thursday, he said.
Johan said the summons is needed to ask for clarification on the involvement of LHI in the case and therefore, it should not be politicized.
"Don't link corruption eradication to politics," he said. (IGT/T007)
