Surabaya (Antara Bali) - State Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan has said the road accident he experienced in Magetan district, East Java, was part of a traffic violation.
"It is a traffic violation and not classified into a crime. But I let it up to the police, anyway," Dahlan said prior to be questioned at East Java Regional Traffic Management Center (RTMC) here on Thursday.
Dahlan on Thursday was to be questioned by East Java police investigators about the road accident he experienced in Magetan district.
The state enterprises minister hit a hillside in Magent last Saturday when he was test driving his super electric Tucuxi car from Jakarta to Surabaya.
The accident occurred at around 3pm on Saturday when he was on the way to Magetan from Solo after passing through the Tawangmangu mountainous area, but he was safe and could continue his journey.
Dahlan drove the car, bought just two weeks ago, in the company of Ricky who is car techology designer graduated from a Japanese university involved in the national electric car development program. (*/DWA/T007)
