Jakarta (Antara Bali) - State enterprises minister Dahlan Iskan hit a hillside in Magetan, East Java, on Saturday while test driving his super electric car Tucuxi from Jakarta to Surabaya.
The minister was safe and could continue his journey, state enterprises ministry's head of public relations bureau Faisal Halimi said to ANTARA here on Saturday evening.
"The incident occurred at around 3pm on the way (to Magetan from Solo) after passing through the Tawangmangu mountainous area," he said.
Dahlan drove the car, bought just two weeks ago, in the company of Ricky who is car techology designer graduated from a Japanese university involved in the national electric car development program.
Faisal said the incident only caused minor damages on the car body. "Pak (Mr) Dahlan's eyeglasses came off but were found later. The journey then continued and he has now arrived in Magetan, his birthplace," he said. (*/M038/T007)
