KLM Offers Direct Flights From Denpasar to Amsterdam

Jimbaran (Antara Bali) - KLM Royal Dutch Airlines resumes direct flights from Bali to Amsterdam and beyond to Europe and North America on 7 December 2009, operating thrice-weekly flights on the 425-seater Boeing 777-300ER. KLM last operated direct services to Bali on 15 October 1997.
   
The inauguration of reopen KLM's international aviation route is marked by a signing of memorandum of understanding by President Director and CEO of PT Garuda Indonesia, Emirsyah Satar, and his colleague, the President Director and CEO of KLM, Peter F Hartman, in Jimbaran, Bali, Tuesday.
    
The Bali – Amsterdam flight in flight number KL836 is operated with a stop in Singapore on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and departs Denpasar at 21:30 local time.
   
It arrives in Amsterdam early the next morning at 08:00 local time with convenient connections at Schiphol Airport to destinations across Europe and North America.
    
The return flight KL835 departs Amsterdam every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 21:00 local time and arrives in Bali at 20:10 local time the next day.
   
Special promotional fares from US$ 555 (return fare, taxes not included)

from Denpasar to Europe will be offered for travel from 07 December 2009 until 31 March 2010. Booking period is available from now to 15 January 2010.
   
Bali, the Island of Peace, is a popular destination among Dutch and other European holidaymakers and this is the key factor driving KLM’s resumption of services.
   
Together with its daily flight from Amsterdam to Jakarta, KLM now offers 10 services a week between Indonesia and the Netherlands.
   
KLM enjoys fifth-freedom rights through Singapore and travellers are therefore able to book flights between Denpasar and Singapore. (*)
