Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The number of passengers arriving at West Jakarta Kalideres Bus Terminal this week may be higher than those who departed for their hometowns to celebrate Idul Fitr festivities last week, a terminal official said.
"I think the number of returning passengers will be higher than those who left for their hometowns last week. During Idul Fitr holidays since the past two years, the number of arriving passengers has always been higher than the number of those who left for their hometwons," Head of Kalideres Bus Terminal Bastian said on Tuesday.
He said that the number of passengers during the return flow of Idul Fitri travelers this year was expected to increase by 26 percent higher than last year.
But he could not assure whether the increasing number of arriving passengers was dominated by new migrants or not.
"We do not have the authority to search for their identities because it is the authority of the Jakarta Population Service," he said.(IGT)
