Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The chief of the National Statistics Agency (BPS), Suryamin, has predicted that inflation will be low in April.
"Inflation remains, but it will be low like before," he said here on Wednesday night.
Suryamin noted that there would be inflation because the harvest season was soon going to be over, but it would be about the same as in March (when inflation was 0.07 percent).
"Harvests have not yet finished but have already declined," he added.
Vice agriculture minister Rusman Heriawan said it was expected that inflation could be further curbed following the large harvests in April.(IGT)
