Jakarta (Antara Bali) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhyono condemned the bombing incident in front of Bethel Injil Sepenuh church (GBIS) In Solo, Central Java, on Sunday noon, a minister said.
"President Yudhyono condemns the incident and expresses condolences for the victims," Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security affairs, Djoko Suyanto said here on Sunday.
The minister said President Yudhoyono asked all components of the people to increase awareness in fighting against terrorism.
He added the president also asked people to maintain communication with related authorities in anticipating terror attempts.
"President Yudhoyono orders the police to conduct a thorough investigation and catch the perpetrators," the minister said.
The bomb blast at the Kepunton church door in Solo, Central Java, on Sunday at about 10.55 AM local time, killed one and injured 14 pilgrims.
Police and forensic personnel are still investigating the case at the crime scene.(*)
