Denpasar (Antaranews Bali) - Denpasar City Government in Bali was elected in the "Movement Towards 100 Smart City" in Indonesia, initiated by the Ministry of Communication and Information.

Head of the Denpasar City Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office, I Dewa Made Agung, on the sidelines of the technical guidance event in Denpasar on Monday, stated that the technical guidance related to smart cities was organized through the stipulation of the "Smart City 100 Movement" in the national program.

He noted that the technical guidance activities in the fourth phase of the preparation of the `smart city` plan was aimed at exploring work programs carried out in each of the regional device organizations (OPDs) based on "smart city."

In this regard, all OPDs in Denpasar City Government were given the opportunity to explain their work programs. This is part of the "smart city" implementation in various work programs that synergize with each other.

Meanwhile, the resource person from Deputy 1 Presidential Executive Staff, Robertus Theodore, remarked that during the technical guidance, there was always a very good development of each OPD of the Denpasar City Government.

"The entire OPD program presentation was aimed at exploring the design of each OPD program," he added.

Further, Theodore explained that it was hoped that there would be no similar program in each OPD, but all programs would be complemented and synergized.

"We are optimistic about the `smart city` program in Denpasar City," he revealed. (WDY)
