Fuzhou utilizes city forest as a recreation site

Fuzhou, China (Antaranews Bali) - The Government of Fuzhou in Fujian Province, China utilized its city forest as a recreation site named "Fuzhou Forest Trail" with an investment fund worth to 600 million yuan. 
     
A local tour operator Lin Bin Zhou who accompanied Bali's journalists in a short visit to Fujian said that the local government built the trail to give a space and facilitated activities of their people, including visitors. 
     
Lin who has nick name as A Sen added that the number of visitors each day to the site reach about 7,000 tourists and foreigners including from Indonesia. 
     
"The trail is free of charge," he said on Saturday (5/5).
     
A Sen, a Chinese who has an Indonesian descent added that the government constructed the trail in two years starting from the end of 2014 to 2016.
     
The trail widely known as Fuzhou Forest Walkway has a unique system with a curving pedestrian through forests spans over 19 kilometres and connected five parks. 
     
A network interlinking the elevated trails, climbing routes and cycling walkways is expected to be established for greater public accessibility.(*)
