Denpasar (Antaranews Bali) - Bali imported US$124.52 million worth of various types of machine and production equipment in 2017, down 17.35 percent from US$150.66 million in the previous year.

The imports were much smaller in value than Bali's export earning of US$536.57 million in 2017, head of the provincial Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) Adi Nugroho said here on Monday without giving reason for the decline.

Bali chalked up a 6.24 percent increase in export value in 2017  from US$505.06 million in 2016.
