Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The full day school system introduced recently by Education and Culture Minister Muhadjir Effendy will be hard to implement, according to educational observer Indra Charismiadji.
"It is hard to implement nationally, but if it is, it will need a large number of additional teachers," Indra remarked here Friday.
However, the system can be implemented in large cities only. In rural areas, geographical constraints make it quite difficult to launch, he added.
In addition, there are several factors that hinder the implementation of the system, and among them is poor infrastructure and the non-availability of teaching staff.
Therefore, the full day school system should be assessed before being implemented, he said. (WDY)
