Denpasar (Antara Bali) - Bali Police Chief Inspector General Sugeng Priyanto has said they are ready secure the 85th Interpol General Assembly that will take place at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) in November this year.

"We will ensure maximum security, including providing new vehicles to accommodate the mobility of state guests who will come to attend the Interpol General Assembly session in Bali," Priyanto remarked in Nusa Dua Saturday.

The National Police chief has agreed on the provision of new vehicles to serve the participants of the Interpol General Assembly session, according to him.

Priyanto also expressed the hope that all parties, including the hospitality, will cooperate to provide a positive image and security in Bali for the success of the event.

Interpol is the second largest global organization comprising 190 countries, after the United Nations, with a mission to connect all police Institutions worldwide for a safer world.

More than 2 thousand delegates from all member states, private and public partners and other national and international organizations are expected to attend the assembly in Bali.

However, based on his experience in attending a similar event previously, Priyanto said the delegates of each member country are usually accompanied by family members for sightseeing, so it is estimated that more than three thousand people will be present in Bali for the Interpol General Assembly.(WDY)
