Jakarta Composite Index Opens Higher, Rupiah Gaining

Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Jakarta composite index (JCI) opened higher on Thursday morning at 5,076.22 points gaining 40.57 points or 0.81 percent .

The index of 45 most liquid stocks followed with a 1.19 percent increase to 875.04 points.

Meanwhile the national currency rupiah in interbank transaction also gained in the opening session trading at the level of 12,538 per US dollar from earlier level of 12,667 per dollar. (WDY)
