Jakarta (Antara Bali) - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) opened trade this morning with the composite share price index rising 14.52 points to follow the  regional trend.

The BEI index gained 0.32 percent  to 4,493.96 points  with the index of 45 most liquid stocks up 0.47 percent to 770.48 points, Samuel Sekuritas' analyst Yualdo Yudoprawiro  said.

Asian markets including BEI gained this morning notably Japanese market, which grew by more than 2 percent on expectation of monetary stimulus from Bank of Japan (BoJ) to follow the resignation of the central bank governor earlier than expected, he further said.  
 
However, minimum positive sentiments  from domestic market after the announcement of Gross Domestic Product (GDP)  could level out, Yualdo said here on Wednesday.

"In addition the country's economy grew only 6.23 percent in 2012 slowing from a growth of 6.5 percent in 2011," he said.

He predicted that the BEI index could  grow to the level of 4,500 points to day.

Regional markets Hang Seng recorded a 0.55 percent increase in index to 23,276.64 points with  Nikkei-225 index up 2.77 percent to 11,353.40 points  and Straits Times gaining 0.01 percent to 3,273.11 points. (*/DWA)
